1) The main concept I learned from the Through the Eyes of Sculptor video was that a sculpture from a stone usually first starts with a sketch followed by a clay model and then a plaster cast before a stone is even touched. The main concept I learned from the Glass and Ceramics video was a statement that ceramic materials can be stronger than steel. The main concept I learned from the Installation Art video was that installation art itself is an individual concept and changes dramatically with each artist.
2) The videos directly relate to the readings because they discuss sculptures, ceramics or crafts, and installation art which all were discussed in the chapters that we read this week.
3) All of the videos that we have seen in the course so far are beneficial to the text that we are reading that week and I feel sometimes even explain the concepts a little bit more thorough. These videos give alternate explanations for works of art and visually show how works are created.
